Recently got a TwoTracks Ambush recurve 49#@28".

I'm still trying to get the arrows right - spine and point weight wise. Even so, my first session shooting her resulted in 3 groups under 3" at 10 yards. That's great for me, can't wait to see what happens with practice and matched arrows.
I'll be going back to the swamp in April after hogs, hoping the Lord blesses me with my first bow harvest.

Looks good! That's some dark wood in the riser; what is it? I was also trying to figure out in the picture what that string silencer was.
Good shooting also! Hope you get to break it in on a pig.

the riser is Burgundy actionwood (a laminate) and the string silencer is the bowyers design, basically a piece of wool fabric. I'll be trying some other silencers as well, but most quieting will probably come from the 625 grain (give or take) wood arrows I'm putting together for it

THanks, I hope to stick a piggie myself!

Cool! I make silencers out of a ball of wool yarn myself but those look unique, looks a little like feathers in the picture. Good huntin!

I'm gonna try those and the otter or muskrat fur. I'm really going to try and get the bow as quiet as possible!

That bow is sure a looker. Hope you get a chance to let the air out of a pig with it.

I've never had a chance to play with one of Chuck's bows, but I've heard a lot of good things about them. That one looks like it would just be plain fun to shoot!

thanks Slow!
It is a great bow to shoot. Unfortunately I can't shoot it worth a flip (not just this one, trad in general). I go from a 2" group to a 2 foot group. I've put her on the shelf for a while and picked up a compound to hunt with this year. I'll get back to it soon enough. Chuck is a great guy!
